Azimut 6000 Ltd. has commenced the implementation of project No. BGTR0300155 (BE-ECO)

 

 

 

Azimut 6000 Ltd. has commenced the implementation of project No. BGTR0300155 (BE-ECO) “Working together to support sustainable solutions,” funded by the INTERREG VI-A IPA Bulgaria – Turkey 2021-2027 Programme, following the signing of the financing agreement by Mr. Grudimir Grudev on August 18, 2025. He was also a guest at an official ceremony at the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works on September 11, 2025, where the start of implementation for all projects funded under the INTERREG VI-A IPA Bulgaria – Turkey 2021-2027 Programme was announced.

Our partner in the implementation of the project is Hotel Simsek – Hasim Simsek, located in Edirne, Turkey.

The total project budget is 767,459.26 BGN (392,401.71 EUR), and the budget for Azimut 6000 Ltd. (Lead Partner) is 376,854.83 BGN (192,685.77 EUR), allocated as follows:

– Grant (Interreg funds) – 85% with a maximum amount of up to 320,326.60 BGN (163,782.90 EUR);

– National co-financing – 15% of the value – 56,528.23 BGN (28,902.87 EUR).

The project is funded under priority 1: “Environmentally friendly cross-border region” and its main objective is optimized environmental management through joint preparation to promote environmentally responsible attitudes in the field of accommodation services and the production of products for them. The support contributes to the implementation of an integrated approach for the targeted and coordinated execution of energy efficiency measures across all economic sectors.

The specific objectives set by the partners for the project implementation, which will lead to the improvement of the state of the environment and climate, are as follows:

  1. Improving the energy efficiency of enterprises in the cross-border region that provide services and manufacture products with care for people
  2. Cultivating a responsible attitude and implementing environmental protection policies and action plans in the field of services and the production of goods for people
  3. Limiting the adverse effects of the activities of enterprises in the cross-border region on the environment and climate
  4. Promoting the environmental sustainability of SMEs in the cross-border region and the actions they must undertake

The main project activities are:

  • Activity 1.1 Establishment and organization of the work of a joint project management team Activity 1.2 Publicity and communication
  • Activity 2.1 Selection of contractors for the supply of equipment and installation works
  • Activity 2.2 Delivery and installation works to improve the energy efficiency of an accommodation facility
  • Activity 2.3 Supply and installation of equipment
  • Activity 3.1 Measures to achieve high environmental performance in the partners’ activities
  • Activity 3.2 Acquisition of knowledge and visibility of efforts to comply with EU standards and requirements for climate-resilient SMEs in the cross-border region
  • Activity 3.3 Energy efficiency audit of enterprises following the implementation of measures within the project
  • Activity 3.4 Promoting an innovative cross-border partnership with high criteria for energy-efficient and ecological development

The project implementation period is 24 months, from 2025-08-19 to 2027-08-18.
